Cate Charney is a seasoned public relations and branding expert with over a decade of experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Cate is a results-driven, strategic professional who has worked on numerous brands across the luxury, niche and mass beauty categories with proven media relationships. 

Throughout her career, Cate has planned and executed multitudes of creative mailers, media desksides, breathtaking press events and international editor & influencer press trips resulting in brand content creation and standout coverage. 

Brands of note include luxury Fashion House fragrance and cosmetic leaders, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Stella McCartney and Escada where Cate oversaw the strategy development and implementation of global product launch plans to garner exceptional media coverage and resonate with consumers.

Over the years as a senior publicist and consultant for both beauty brands and field experts, Cate has grown her beauty industry knowledge through unique projects that offer a different point of view and continue to serve her present-day clients.

Collaborations of note include her time as Director of PR for Birchbox, acting in-house Director of Public Relations and Events in North America for Space NK, a large-scale consumer and media facing awareness building campaign with Unilever Deodorants and multiple campaigns with Procter & Gamble for Olay and Crest. 

In addition, Cate has introduced new-to-market beauty brands Bastide Aix-en-Provence, Le Mini Macaron, Pause Well-Aging, Ellis Day Skin Science, Fortify+ Skincare, Eight Saints Skincare and Lunata Beauty to media through smart activations and refined communication tactics.
